We are excited to announce that staking is now available for our community of $CHICKS holders! From 5th of February 2022 onwards, the SolChicks community can stake their $CHICKS tokens for yield rewards. To stake your $CHICKS tokens, go to the SolChicks staking website now!
Staking $CHICKS tokens
To stake your $CHICKS you will need a compatible wallet (eg. Phantom or Solflare) containing your tokens and $SOL to cover the transaction fees (approximately 0.1 $SOL). The minimum staking quantity is 2000 $CHICKS, with a minimum staking period of 8 weeks.
Staking of $CHICKS tokens will allow you to earn xCHICKS in return, with each xCHICKS token equating to a share in the $CHICKS token pool. The staking of more $CHICKS tokens will allow you to earn more rewards through a greater share of the token pool. The circulating supply of xCHICKS will remain the same once distribution of yield rewards begins, which means a larger return in yield rewards as the staking pool increases.
Please note that withdrawing from the staking prior to the 8 week period will be subject to a 20% charge, with all unstaking fees allocated to the staking rewards pool.
